DESCRIPTION: Broadleaf subtropical foliage plant, generally around 1m or so, with an elegant silhouette. Leaves are an all-over rich wine-red colour, pinker when new.

USES: For the tropical garden.  As a contrasting plant in borders; in containers, as an accent.
PLANTING: Prefers sun to part shade.  Plant in a well drained soil, mulch and fertilise when planting.  Surprisingly tolerant of dry conditions but growth is restricted.

CARE: Remove dead foliage if required. Water in dry spells, feed with liquid fertiliser in spring.

HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1m H x 0.6m W.
