Anethum graveolens – dill – seed
DESCRIPTION: Clumping herb with fine feathery leaves, use the leaves and seeds to flavour fish, cheese and vegetable dishes.
PLANTING: Sow year round in most climates avoiding extreme heat and cold. Sow in a full sun location sheltered from wind in final position. Cover with a thin layer of soil and keep moist until seedlings emerge.
USE IN: Use to flavour fish, cheese and vegetable based dishes. For a delicious potato topper, finely chop dill and gently mix into softened butter for later use.
CARE: For best results water regularly and apply liquid fertiliser monthly.
