DESCRIPTION: Compact syzygium variety with glossy dark foliage and stunning red new growth. Small white flowers during spring before red fruit appear. Dense growth habit.
USE IN: Great screening and hedging plant. Suited to topiary and container growing. Beautiful bird attracting native shrub. Tolerates drought and frost.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering to promote new growth or as required for hedging and topiary plants. Fertilise with a native slow release fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1 – 2 m H x 1 – 2 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm including the pot height of 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
